Diversity Cup 2013
If you are here, you are likely on the wonderful Keeler Soccer Team! As you know, we are breaking this year in to 3 separate parts. Each is listed below with a description about how they work.
The Keeler Cup
The Keeler Cup will be our intramurals played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch. Students are on 1 of 4 teams that are currently leading the Premiere League. Each team will play the other twice, and then we will have a playoff and medal round! As students go through the season, the emphasis will be on sportsmanship (winning and losing with class), skills, teamwork, and having fun!
Team Practice
The girl and boy teams will then start to work together. During this part of the season, girls will practice with girls, and boys with boys. They will learn their positions, and they will learn how their teammates play and where on the field they belong. The focus will be on teamwork, sportsmanship, fair play, and positioning. There will also be scrimmages that take place during this time.
Diversity Cup
During a weekend in June, students will represent Keeler with pride and belonging in the Kiwanis Diversity Cup! We will play other schools at our ability level and will put in to action all of those positive sports skills that we've learned. Tell your cousins, parents, friends, and have them show up to cheer us on as we have fun representing Keeler School with dignity and class!
