Canadian Tourism Videos
We are going to check out the videos below and fill in a survey for each one! Click here, be honest, and share what the video can teach you!
Canada's North: This video is a tourism video for the territories. This is another one, called "Get Outside". Both of these amazing videos are about 30 seconds and showcase through narration, titles, and imagery a number of the areas of geography!
British Columbia: This is called "Destination: British Columbia", it is slightly longer at about 3 and a half minutes. As you watch you will find the imagery helpful in understanding the natural resources, tourist activities, animal life, and bodies of water. What else is in there?
Alberta: Don't you love our province! Did you know that all of these places existed so close to home? This is a 3 minute video taking you into the depths of our diverse and beautiful province. It is part of a campaign called "Remember to Breathe".
Saskatchewan: This is Mr. MacKenzie AND Mrs. Lunnin's homeland! Listen to the words in the anthem - what do they tell you? What can you learn from the videos?
Manitoba: I am always amazed at how huge Manitoba is! What ecoregions does it have? What is the climate? Watch this video and get some valuable insight into the middle province!
Ontario: Are you starting to notice trends throughout all of the videos? What is the same, what is different between each? How are the producers expressing the unique characteristics of each province? Check out this video from Ontario Tourism! What have you seen before? What is unique?
Quebec: Throughout the seasons there are fast moments, slow ones, and times that fit inbetween. Watch this video and feel your energy levels increase and then relax. What do the producers do to make you feel this way? What do you notice about this video?
New Brunswick: Man, do I ever want to check out the East Coast! Have you been there? It looks like a different world to me. Watch this video, connect it to the regions - I think you'll easily find beauty here.
Prince Edward Island: The words green, read, peaceful, incredible come to mind when I watch this video. What comes to yours? What makes it beautiful? Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could hop a plane and check it out...
Nova Scotia: What time of day is it at the start of this video? What time is it at the end? From sunrise to sunset, can you gather any information about the climate, natural resources, industries, animal life? Do they have overlapping regions, or is it only 1?
Newfoundland and Labrador: What does this video focus on? Industry? Resources? Animals? People? Check it out and find out what is unique and interesting about the province that is the furthest distance from our homes.
